Our Motorhomes are ideal for use in the Lake District. Start paying for the hire of your Motorhome only once you reach your holiday destination. Don‘t waste valuable rental time and money sat on the motorway driving to and from the Lake District. Either leave your car at home and we will pick you up from the nearest train station or airport or drive up to the Lake District and leave your car with us, we provide off road parking.

Our Motorhomes are also available for use in the rest of the UK. The Scottish borders are only 40 miles away and we are only a few hours drive from the Yorkshire Dales, Peak District and North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Motorhome Hire

Lakes Motorhome Rentals is a Motorhome hire company based in the English Lake District. The Motorhomes we hire are a great size for a couple or small family. Hiring a motorhome is an ideal way to visit new places, especially those that are more remote. We are ideally located for exploring the Lake District and/or for touring Scotland.

On each of our hire motorhomes there is an awning and bike rack. Therefore each motorhome hire can enjoy dining outside after a bike ride through unexplored area.

Repeat Customer Discount

If you decide to re-book the hire of one of our motorhomes either the same year or the following year, then please ask for a repeat motorhome hire discount. This discount can be upto 20% depending on the time of year that you would like to hire the motorhome.

Motorhome Advice

If you wish to hire a motorhome for the purpose of holidaying on camp sites, then please ask for one of our special Motorhome and camping packs where you can get a discount for using certain camping grounds with a motorhome hire privalige card.
If you wish to hire a motorhome to free park or camp wild, then we have a power inverter, which enables customers to have 240v of power whilst not connected to an on site power supply.
